We cordially invite you to the Lujong course with Liz Sung.

Lujong, meaning “body training,” is a traditional Tibetan yogic practice, composed of 20 specific exercises - combining dynamic movement, breath, and mindful attention. The goal is to strengthen the body, harmonize subtle energies,
and develop mental clarity.

This course is suitable for:

  • Anyone, regardless of age or body flexibility.
  • Anyone who wants to learn how to harmonize their internal organs, release tension in your joints, and “clear your head” :-)
  • Practitioners of Sowa Rigpa
  • Nejang practitioners ready to progress into a more dynamic system of Tibetan Yoga
  • Students of Tibetan Buddhism and meditation seeking an embodied approach to contemplative practice
  • Yoga teachers and movement professionals interested in traditional Tibetan methods of working with the body, breath, and mind
This extended weekend program is a continuation of the previous Lujong course, which took place in our center in 2025.
Last year, we learned the first 10 exercises.
This year, we’ll continue and go through the next (and final) ten exercises.
This will give you a comprehensive experience of the unique Lujong yoga practice.

NO PROBLEM!
You can purchase a special price package -
a ticket to this course + recording of last year's course (the first 10 exercises).

You can also attend just this course and purchase the first ten exercises (including explanations) at any time later.

Possible ONLINE participation!
After the course ends, you'll receive a VIDEO RECORDING so you can review the exercises anytime!

About the LIZ:

Liz Sung was raised in New York City and now based in Los Angeles, California. She is a practitioner of the Yuthok Nyingthig - a Vajrayana lineage of the Medicine Buddha - under the guidance of her main teacher Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, with whom she also studied Tibetan yoga and Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine). Influenced by her Korean heritage and the Mahayana Buddhist traditions of her upbringing, Liz began her dharma education under her first teacher in the Gelug lineage.

As the Yoga Director for the Sowa Rigpa Institute, Liz helped to develop the institute’s Sowa Rigpa Yoga curriculum integrating Tibetan medicine with Tibetan yoga.

Liz is the founder of SAMAYA, a meditation lifestyle brand, and co-creates Tanaduk Garden, a special project with Dr. Nida devoted to sharing the rich herbal and spiritual wisdom of Tibetan Medicine.

About Lujong history:
Rooted in the teachings of the 14th-century Dzogchen master Longchenpa, this lineage of Lujong explores the profound relationship between training the body and training the mind. Through dynamic and meditative exercises, the practice works to release physical and energetic obstacles, develop strength and vitality, and prepare the practitioner for deeper states of meditation and open awareness.

Taught publicly for the first time by Dr. Nida Chenagtsang in 2024, this presentation of Longchenpa’s Lujong integrates the principles of Sowa Rigpa to promote optimal physical and mental well-being. A natural progression from the gentle therapeutic practices of Nejang, Lujong offers a more dynamic approach to working with the body as a vehicle for healing, transformation, and contemplative realization.
