Meditation on the Buddha of Loving Eyes, the Main Practice in Nala Centers

The Buddha of Loving Eyes, Tibetan Chenrezig, can be viewed in three different ways. First, as a yidam, a manifestation of light and energy, inseparable from the fully awakened mind of our teacher.

Second, Loving Eyes can represent the embodiment of kindness and compassion itself. In this regard, all kindness, generosity, and people who embody these qualities can be seen symbolically or practically as the activity of Loving Eyes.

In the third case, the meaning of Chenrezig points to the absolute nature of the mind itself. Through insight, we can understand that all phenomena are the magical and dreamlike play of the mind, thus unborn, infinite, and conscious space.

In Nala centers, meditation on the Buddha of Loving Eyes is the main practice, and every practitioner receives the text and explanation.

Beyond formal practice, we recognize the importance of compassion and helping others in everyday life.

Loving Kindness

The kind approach of Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche inspired us to help others just as he does.

Equanimity

Rinpoche creates a bridge between East and West. Children in his monastery schools learn English, which opens doors to a better future for them. Similarly, Eastern wisdom and profound Buddhist teachings offer us the opportunity to improve our lives and the lives of our children.

Compassion

We are committed to supporting a school for Nepalese orphans and poor children who would otherwise spend their lives working in agriculture and remain illiterate.

Shared Joy

We rejoice in the successes of artists, the arrivals of lamas, and the achievements of our students. We are inspired by their ability to find contentment in any conditions they grow up in. This support not only develops compassion but also shared joy.
