MUDr. Anastazja Holecko

MUDr. Anastazja Holecko became one of the first Western students of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang during her medical studies.

Originally from Saint Petersburg, Anastazja currently lives in Prague. After completing her medical studies at the University of Lodz in Poland, she worked at the Motol hospital in Prague in 2008. During her medical studies, she became one of the first Western students of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. As an intern, she worked in Tibetan hospitals, including Men-Tsee-Khang in Dharamsala (India) and in Xining (Amdo, Tibet).

Since 2007, Anastazja has been the editor-in-chief of the international journal on Tibetan medicine, The Journal of Traditional Tibetan Medicine. She is currently a doctor and instructor of Tibetan medicine and leads branches of the International Academy of Traditional Tibetan Medicine in the Czech Republic and Poland. Anastazja's unique combination of knowledge in the holistic approach of Tibetan medicine and modern medical science forms the foundation of her lectures and medical practice.
