Dear dharma friends,
we are pleased to invite you to attend the Empowerment of the 2nd Karmapa Karma Pakshi, which will be given by His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.

The 4th Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche is a contemporary Tibetan Buddhist master and lineage holder of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in Nepal, Rinpoche received traditional Tibetan education and completed a traditional three-year retreat. As a lineage holder, he now divides his time between personal retreat and teaching activities. In 2017, Rinpoche embarked on his first European tour, bestowing teachings and empowerments upon thousands of students in various European countries, such as France, Germany, Hungary and Poland.

His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche will give us the empowerment of the 2nd Karmapa Karma Pakshi, one of the most important masters of the Kagyu lineage. Karma Pakshi is renowned for his profound realization, extraordinary qualities of awakened mind, and deep connection to the practice of mahamudra. By receiving this empowerment, participants will receive the blessings of the lineage and authorization to engage in the practice.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

The empowerment is in-person attendance only
Venue: KKPL Center, Újezd nad Zbečnem
The empowerment begins at 4:00 pm
The center will open for the participants at 3:30 pm
The event will be held in English with Czech interpretation
Registration closes on October 27, 2026
