This weekend program offers an introduction to Lujong (or body training). We will explore how mind can be trained by way of training the body. Rooted in the profound teachings of the 14th century Dzogchen master Longchenpa, this unique Tibetan Yoga series was designed to allow the mind to rest in open awareness and realize our true nature.
Unlike ordinary exercise, this dynamic body training program is more than just a physical practice. Taught publicly for the first time by Dr. Nida Chenagtsang in 2024, this Lüjong series supports the health of the organs and joints, harmonizes the inner elements and primes practitioners for advanced meditations by removing obstacles and refining the mind.
In this special two-day retreat, Dr. Nida Chenagtsang will provide a concise theoretical introduction, and Liz Sung will guide participants through the movement and practice sessions. This short training program will allow participants to get a taste of the full Lüjong series and a chance to experience its depth, energy, and potential for transformation.
This weekend is ideal for anyone interested in Tibetan yoga, enhancing their meditation practice, or increasing their vitality in daily life.
