Founder of the Nala Foundation,
Therapist of Traditional Tibetan Medicine, Yoga Instructor.
Since 2012, Vlasta has been bringing Eastern wisdom to the West through the Nala Foundation. As its founder, she is dedicated to preserving and spreading the Buddhist tradition and transmitting Tibetan teachings and wisdom to people not only in the Czech Republic but also beyond its borders.
Vlasta's path to Buddhism opened 20 years ago when she was experiencing health problems and seeking answers to various life questions. She was fascinated by the fact that Buddhism is not only a philosophical direction but a lifelong path that includes the practice of yoga and Tibetan medicine. In 2014, she graduated as one of the first in the Czech Republic under the guidance of the renowned Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, who brought this Eastern teaching to the West.
Vlasta is also a certified instructor of classical hatha yoga accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports. Her current approach and teaching have been significantly influenced by subsequent yoga courses and practices under the guidance of Eastern teachers, including Dupseng Rinpoche. As a result, Vlasta's classes combine the Hindu yoga tradition with the Tibetan approach. In her teaching, she emphasizes compassion and the freedom of each individual, ensuring that people respect their body's limits at any given moment. She patiently guides them to awareness, understanding, and eventually relaxation. Additionally, Vlasta is one of the few in the Czech Republic to teach Tibetan healing gentle yoga called Nejang, which helps people overcome their health issues. She adheres to the motto: "The mind is the king, and the body follows."
Whether it's yoga classes or other external therapies recommended based on Tibetan medicine, Vlasta's empathetic approach and ability to touch people deeply in their core make an ordinary experience unforgettable—one that prompts people to make changes and take significant life decisions.
